A Love Letter to the Self

I don’t think I need to be conscious every time- calculating my steps, contemplating my next moves. Maybe I just need to be present.

Maybe I just need to breathe. Breathe in and breathe out. Look around at the trees, and dance with them. Watch the sky talk in pictures that only I create.

Love what I have. And then, love more. Care less of what others might think. After all, it’s our health that is our first priority. Get lost into nothingness. And then cry more than once, because we are beings who care.

Share love, be alone, then create. Fall number of times, for who’s gonna watch anyway. Laugh with them when we slip, and enjoy our own mistakes.

Don’t pressure yourself into something that you don’t need. Listen to your inner voice, let it roar. Be your own best friend. And laugh with yourself.

Don’t live to impress others. But live to build a life where you have faced your fears up front. Congratulations to you. You have taken care the way you can.

Become responsible and then, be crazy. Life is all you want to have, just walk into the unknown because faith is all you have.

And now let’s row our boats, not to the shores but to the waterfalls that scare us. Let’s have an adventure of life, where we are frozen scared, but push beyond what we think is possible.

For a life lived where we grow beyond our fears is a life lived joyously.
