Thoughts of the Night: A Poem

As the night comes alive,
My mind breaths,
Thoughts gather around,
Debating my day’s breeze,

Even though my eyes are closed,
And my body asleep,
Dreams of mine never find relief.

At the rise of the sun, I am someone else,
Confident, strong and winner,
And when the sun sets, my true self comes ahead.

Anger and shame rush into my head,
Encouraging to take the fall,
To run away from it all.
It never leaves me ever,
Travelling free under the same room,
I try to cut it out,
But it stays with me,
As my another half.
