It got overwhelming every time I started changing my habits, mindset and thoughts. Everything flashed in front of me: What I was doing wrong, what excuses I made, blaming, disempowering thinking habits and addictions.
My focus shifted from one area to another, And let’s be honest, because there was so much to change, I got crushed beneath the weight of sudden responsibilities. And, then I found myself in the pit that I built.
And nothing is suppose to change in an instant. So, I begin writing out what habits and mindset I must replace.
And this is the habit that helped me regain my focus only on one thing that mattered to me from all the least important ones.
The simple steps that I followed are:
- Writing down my habits that I want to change and the habits that I will do instead.
- Writing down my mindset and finding a replacement that I want to have.
- The next step is to act according to the set of habits and mindset. Whenever there is a hint of the habit or mindset that is boiling up, shut it down by chinging the way you think and act.
- And learn to stop judging oneself for what one wants and be oneself with love.
Hope this helps you to make better change.
