Maybe the reason people suffer or I suffered so much is because I gave meaning to every word and every story in my life. And this, when I took this into account, opened up when I gave the word “Ghost” meaning. A character. A life.
Ghost, the first time I came up with, was someone who is invisible, cannot be seen and works hard. With time, it became a personality that had so many character traits that it was hard to follow. Breaking even one rule meant I would fall.
And this made it hard to follow up with the personality, too many rules.
Presently removing every rule of Ghost, i have nothing but the first rules that I used to make Ghost, and that is, being invisible and working hard. No emotions, no past and only beauty.
Giving too many rules, emotions or stories, even solutions, makes it harder to actually see what is right. A thought may pop up, that, “If I don’t try this, aren’t I missing it?”.
When this thought pops up, I turn over to one specific rule of the Dokkodo: Never regret any decision.
And judging from my experience, the first time solutions, answers or rules are the ones that are really important. Because that is the child of that particular view, idea or thought. And from there it grow further. And the truth is, other parts (rules, emotions, stories etc.) are only modification which may only cause clutter and difficulty.
In conclusion, keep it simple. If you are creating a personality, a book, a life, or anything keep it plain and simple. Don’t dive into the clutter of thoughts.
